Samuel Harlow of Ashbourne Derbyshire 8 day Longcase clock

A small 8-day longcase clock by Samuel Harlow of Ashbourne in an oak case, 6ft 9in tall. A very pretty painted dial by Wilson of Birmingham, c1780. A very original clock in fine condition of good colour and patina. Samuel Harlow was one of the most important makers of longcase clocks who supplied high-quality movements to the trade throughout Britain.
